Mission

Equipping the next generation of African pastors for gospel-centered ministry

Trinity Fellowship Church and Trinity Fellowship Pastors College aim to prepare men for pastoral ministry by providing pastoral support and guidance in three areas: calling, equipping, and deploying.

Calling. When a man is granted pastoral gifts by God, Trinity Fellowship Church seeks to affirm His work and encourage him to further develop these gifts. As patterns of faithfulness, holiness, and pursuit of pastoral opportunities emerge, we want to formally equip him for future ministry.

Equipping. We aim to equip called, gifted, and qualified men for pastoral ministry through a three-year program. Progressing through the program in three sequential years, men will receive education for pastoral ministry, complete a pastoral apprenticeship at Trinity Fellowship Church, and be guided through the ordination process for Sovereign Grace Churches. If further maturity and development is needed, we will slow down the process and provide necessary pastoral care and encouragement.

Deploying. After ordination, we aim to deploy pastors into formal ministry roles with three possible outcomes:

  • Outcome 1: He joins a church planting team sent out from Trinity Fellowship Church.
  • Outcome 2: He becomes an elder at Trinity Fellowship Church.
  • Outcome 3: He pursues further education as he teaches at the Trinity Fellowship Pastors College.
